If you own or represent a hotel, you can bring it to our attention, help us verify its information or request recognition when it has already been selected.
Not another hotel directory
We do not list every hotel.
Travellers already have enough places to browse endless inventories. 5stays exists to make the decision smaller.
Each guide contains five hotels. We rank them using verified guest ratings, review volume, location and relevance to the destination.
A nomination tells us where to look. It does not guarantee inclusion or influence the final order.
How it works

Submit a nomination
Share the hotel’s official website, Booking.com page, location and the details that make it worth a closer look.

We verify the property
We confirm that the hotel belongs to the destination. We also check its current guest rating, review volume and available information.

We review the evidence
The property is reviewed alongside the other eligible hotels in that destination. Only five can appear in each shortlist.

Selected hotels hear from us
If the hotel enters one of our shortlists, we may contact its team to verify information and provide a complimentary “Selected by 5stays” badge.

Already one of the five?
Hotels currently featured in a 5stays guide can request a complimentary digital badge for their official website, press page or media kit.
The badge recognises the hotel’s inclusion in an independent 5stays shortlist. Displaying it and linking to the relevant guide is always optional.

There is no fee to submit a hotel.
Payments, commercial relationships, affiliate commissions, advertising and backlinks cannot secure a place in a shortlist or change a hotel’s position.
Nominations help us discover and verify properties. Selection remains governed by our published methodology.

A few things hotel teams ask.
Does it cost anything to nominate a hotel?
No. Hotel nominations are free.
Does submitting a hotel guarantee inclusion?
No. A nomination brings the property to our attention, but only five hotels can appear in each shortlist.
Can a hotel pay to be included or ranked higher?
No. Paid placement is not available within our editorial shortlists.
What happens if there is no guide for our destination yet?
We may add the destination to our editorial review queue. Submitting a hotel does not guarantee that a guide will be published.
Can we provide photographs or updated information?
Yes. You can include a link to an official press or brand kit with your nomination. We will only use materials where the required permission exists.
Our hotel is already featured. Can we correct its information?
Yes. Contact us from an email address associated with the hotel and include the URL of the relevant 5stays guide.
How can we request the selected badge?
Email us from an official hotel address with the hotel name and the 5stays guide in which it appears. We will verify the request before providing the badge.
